What Would You Do?

We are seeking an exceptional Software Automation Engineer to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality products. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for automating API testing using Python, ensuring efficient and reliable test execution. Your expertise will also be utilized to develop and execute comprehensive test processes, including planning and managing test strategies.

You will create and maintain mock systems to support performance and automation testing. Additionally, you will design and implement a continuous delivery pipeline to streamline releases. Integrating automated testing into the deployment process via CodeBuild and CodePipeline is another crucial aspect of this role.

You will automate testing using Robot Framework, ensuring robust test coverage. Furthermore, you will review and approve code changes, ensuring quality and alignment with requirements. White-box testing and collaboration with developers are essential aspects of your job, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Analyze and review requirements, identifying opportunities for test automation and process improvements. Automate tests using Cypress, expanding functional coverage and improving test effectiveness. Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform for a more scalable and reliable environment.

Manage functional loads and identify future opportunities to develop functional testing.

Your Experience

We are looking for a candidate with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in automation tools, including:

  • Python for API test automation
  • CodeBuild and CodePipeline for deployment automation
  • Robot Framework and Cypress for comprehensive test automation
  • Terraform for infrastructure automation
  • Selenium for browser-based test automation

Familiarity with AWS, Grafana, and Jest is highly valued. Expertise in reviewing and analyzing technical requirements and translating them into efficient test plans is a must. Experience working with both performance testing and white-box testing methodologies is also essential.

A strong foundation in managing and executing test plans within CI/CD environments is required.

  • Proactive Problem Solver: Ability to anticipate potential issues and design tests to prevent them from becoming production problems
