Newrez LLC, a leading mortgage servicing company, is seeking an experienced Mortgage Originator Specialist to join our team. Based in Fort Washington, PA, this role requires strong communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

About the Job

As a Mortgage Originator Specialist, you will be responsible for originating various types of loans focused on servicing existing customers. Your primary function will be to originate purchase and refinance loans by responding to company-provided leads via phone in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Originate purchase and refinance loans by responding to company-provided leads via phone in a timely manner.
  • Engage with consumers, determine their needs, and offer appropriate products.
  • Take mortgage loan applications by phone and prepare effective loan proposals.
  • Obtain all necessary information to close the loans in a timely manner, including credit reports, income verification, appraisals, etc.
  • Meet individual monthly sales goals.
  • Stay informed of developing trends in the mortgage industry.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years' origination experience in the mortgage or banking industry required.
  • Active NMLS license.
  • A solid understanding of appraisals, title reports, and product guidelines.
  • Experience utilizing persuasive communication skills; inside sales experience preferred.
