**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to oversee all accounting operations within our fast-growing eCommerce business. As a key member of our leadership team, this role will play a pivotal part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reports, supporting strategic planning, and enhancing our financial systems to scale with the business.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
- Manage the general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, inventory accounting, and tax compliance.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and cost control initiatives.
- Ensure proper financial reporting for all sales channels, including DTC (Shopify, Amazon, etc.) and retail POS systems.
- Implement and maintain internal controls and financial policies to safeguard company assets.
- Support audits, including preparing schedules and working with external auditors.
- Analyze financial performance, profitability by SKU/channel, and operational KPIs to provide insights to leadership.
- Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to track inventory and COGS accurately.
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team and support cross-functional financial projects.
