About the Job
We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to join our team at Paralucent Inc. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality of our software products.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a strong focus on delivering defect-free products.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to guarantee software quality and functionality.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to comprehend project requirements and identify potential issues.
- Conduct thorough manual and automated testing, encompassing functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
- Accurately identify, document, and track defects, ensuring they are extensively tested and resolved.
- Perform exploratory testing to identify usability and user experience issues.
- Regularly monitor and report on the progress of testing activities, providing timely updates to stakeholders.
- Participate in the review of product specifications and requirements to ensure testability and coverage.
- Contribute to the development of test automation scripts and frameworks.
- Collaborate with the development team to establish and maintain testing environments.
- Evaluate testing processes and methodologies to ensure alignment with industry best practices.
- Share expertise and mentor junior QA analysts within the QA team.
Key Requirements:
- A minimum of 5+ years of professional experience as a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst, with a focus on software testing.
- Experience with regression testing.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience with testing ServiceNow and ATF.
- Proficiency in manual and automated testing tools and techniques.
- Deep understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Solid grasp of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Superior communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methodologies is a plus.
- Relevant QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are beneficial.
- Necessary ServiceNow experience includes custom application development, configuring workflows, and integrating with other systems.
