Data Engineering Lead Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead our data engineering team and drive the design and implementation of data architecture solutions. This is a key leadership position that requires a strong understanding of data architecture principles, excellent analytical skills, and hands-on experience with designing and implementing data solutions using Databricks.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of data architecture solutions using Databricks or other platforms.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to develop and maintain data models, schemas, and data pipelines.
  • Optimize data storage, processing, and retrieval for performance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the data lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience as a Data Architect or a similar role.
  • Experience in IT project management is preferred.
  • Proven experience with Databricks, including Databricks Runtime, Delta Lake, and Apache Spark.
