Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a skilled ER nurse to join our team of healthcare professionals. As an emergency room travel nurse, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care to patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Compensation: The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 per year, with the possibility of additional incentives and benefits.
About the Job: Our ER nurse positions require candidates who can handle high-pressure situations and work effectively as part of a team. You will be responsible for assessing patient conditions, identifying injuries and signs of illness, and communicating your findings to physicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine patients upon arrival and conduct triage tasks to assess their condition
- Identify injuries, signs, and symptoms, and communicate your assessment to physicians
- Assist in patient treatment and explain prescription information to patients and families
- Know facility and government policies related to patient treatment, transfer, and discharge
- Educate patients and their families about continued treatment at home before discharge
Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you should have BCLS certification and preferably hold TNCC, ENPC, NIHSS, CEN, MAB, CPI, or NRP certifications.
