Our treasury team plays a critical role in managing our clients' financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and optimizing cash flow. We're seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our treasury function and drive business growth.
Job DescriptionThis is a leadership role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for leading and overseeing the execution of payment confirmations, validating and confirming payment data input into our virtual banking platform, and strategically managing funds availability and liquidity.
You will also be responsible for bank reconciliation, acting as a primary point of contact for banking relationships, negotiating terms and conditions, and resolving complex issues or inquiries. Additionally, you will develop and implement treasury policies, procedures, and controls, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and oversee the execution of payment confirmations prior to processing, ensuring adherence to established protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Take charge of validating and confirming payment data input into the virtual banking platform, treasury management system (TMS), or financial software, conducting thorough reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Strategically manage funds availability and liquidity, implementing advanced forecasting techniques and cash management strategies to optimize working capital and minimize financial risk.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; an advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CTP) is preferred.
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in treasury management or related financial roles, with demonstrated expertise in cash management, liquidity forecasting, and financial risk mitigation strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of treasury operations, financial instruments, and market dynamics, including proficiency in analyzing and interpreting complex financial data.
- Extensive experience with treasury management systems (TMS), banking platforms, and financial software applications, with the ability to leverage technology to optimize treasury processes and workflows.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing treasury strategies to optimize cash flow, minimize financial risk, and maximize returns on investments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess financial risks and opportunities, develop actionable insights, and make strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, senior executives, and external partners.
- Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and develop junior team members, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and drive organizational change initiatives within the treasury function.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on innovation and business growth, coupled with the ability to anticipate and adapt to changes in the economic and regulatory environment.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken (B2), with the capacity to articulate complex ideas and strategies clearly and concisely.
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
