About the role
- As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead software development projects, designing, developing, testing, and debugging code. You will mentor junior developers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver quality products.
- You will develop high-quality software design and architecture.
- You will identify, prioritize, and execute tasks in the software development life cycle.
- You will develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code.
- You will automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting.
- You will perform validation and verification testing.
- You will collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products.
- You will document development phases and monitor systems.
- You will ensure software is up to date with the latest technologies.
What you need to succeed
- You need a Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or other relevant fields.
- You need at least 5 years of software development experience.
- You need knowledge of selected programming languages (Java and/or NodeJS).
- You need to be skilled in integrating software systems and ensuring interoperability, especially in complex and specialized environments.
- You need to have knowledge regarding pattern designs.
- You need experience using system monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic) and automated testing frameworks.
- You need proficiency in creating comprehensive technical documentation for specialized software solutions.
- You need knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
- You need basic knowledge in AWS.
- You need familiarity with various operating systems (Linux, Mac OS, Windows).
- You need experience in software development, scripting, and project management.
- You need experience as a Senior Software Engineer.
