About the Role

Equinix is the world's digital infrastructure company, operating over 250 data centers across the globe. We're seeking a Senior Engineering Director to lead our critical facility infrastructure team. This role will be responsible for managing a cross-functional team that provides asset management expertise, project controls, and escalated site support for critical facility infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of engineers to ensure critical facility uptime requirements are met
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive team results
  • Collaborate with site locations to maintain strong working relationships
  • Maintain and improve continuous improvement processes and culture
  • Direct reporting of key performance indicators

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Telecom, Mechanical, or Automation
  • Fluent English is mandatory, Spanish is a plus
  • Solid previous experience in leading and developing a team of critical facility subject matter experts
  • Knowledgeable in critical facility engineering disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, and control systems
  • Technical expertise in critical power and cooling systems, life safety, and environmental compliance
