Job Summary

We're seeking a seasoned professional with a strong background in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement to lead our Industrial Engineering Area. Your primary focus will be on optimizing our production processes, reducing costs, and improving quality. You'll work closely with our production schedulers to ensure timely delivery of products, manage in-process inventory, and drive the implementation of improvement projects and systems.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and sponsorship for cross-functional projects, ensuring their successful initiation and completion.
  • Develop and implement production planning and in-process inventory control strategies to optimize productivity and quality.
  • Drive the adoption of lean and Six Sigma principles, identifying and prioritizing projects that yield significant cost savings.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, coaching and mentoring engineers to achieve AOP goals.
  • Collaborate with plant management and staff to ensure timely decision-making and effective short- and long-term planning.
Requirements

We're looking for a highly skilled professional with a strong background in industrial engineering, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement. Your ideal profile includes:

  • A professional degree in Industrial, Production, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Lean manufacturing certification and experience working in a lean manufacturing or continuous improvement environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to drive cultural change.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Salary Range

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
