Job Overview
Motorola Solutions is seeking a skilled Product Cyber Assurance Security Specialist to join our team. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the security of our products and services, protecting our customers' sensitive information.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced professional with expertise in cybersecurity, particularly in NIST 800-53 compliance, SOC, and ISO frameworks. As a Product Cyber Assurance Security Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing the strategy to ready our products and services to meet evolving security needs, working closely with sales teams to identify market opportunities, and providing project management support to ensure timely development and maintenance of plans to address security gaps.
Key Responsibilities
- Support implementation of the program to ready our portfolio of products & services deployed to customer sites to meet evolving market requirements for security expected by our customers, emphasizing compliance to NIST SP 800-53.
- Partner with sales teams to identify market opportunities and create a revenue-prioritized funnel of products & services to be taken through the market readiness program.
- Guide prioritization of NIST SP 800-53 gap assessments for identified products, providing expert guidance on certifications such as SOC and ISO to accelerate time-to-market.
- Reduce compliance costs by creating common practices, processes, and procedures that can be developed once and used many times across many products & services.
- Cosnult with peer security functions, including Product Security Consultants and Product Security Architecture, to provide implementation guidance to development teams to meet NIST SP 800-53 control objectives.
- Implement continuous monitoring programs to provide assurance for continued compliance of product security to NIST 800-53 security requirements.
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- Bachelor's degree in a business or technology-related field.
- Upper-intermediate level of English proficiency.
- Experience communicating complex technical information to senior-level stakeholders.
- Expert knowledge in industry frameworks, including NIST 800-53, SOC, and ISO, and auditing/assessing against them.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across global, cross-functional teams.
- Ability to translate security framework requirements into terms understandable by the business.
- Certification in CISSP, CISM, or equivalent (preferred but not required).
What We Offer
Motorola Solutions offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and training & education opportunities.
