We are seeking an experienced and passionate Event Manager to join our expanding team at Goodwin Recruiting. As an Event Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing successful events that leave a lasting impression on attendees and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Event Planning and Coordination: Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, from budget planning and venue selection to event logistics and post-event evaluations.
  2. Client Collaboration: Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and objectives for the event, and ensure that they are met within the given budget and timeline.
  3. Vendor Management: Source and negotiate with vendors, such as caterers, decorators, and entertainment, to provide the best services and value for the event.
  4. Marketing and Design: Work with marketing and design teams to develop event themes, branding, and promotional materials.
  5. Financial Management: Manage event budgets, track expenses, and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
  6. Event Staff Management: Coordinate event staff, including event coordinators, volunteers, and security personnel, and provide guidance and support to ensure smooth execution of the event.
  7. Contingency Planning: Create contingency plans and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the event.
  8. Post-Event Evaluation: Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of the event and gather feedback from attendees and clients.
Qualifications:
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning and management.
  3. Skills: Strong project management skills and ability to multitask and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact and negotiate with clients, vendors, and team members.
  4. Creative Mindset: Creative mindset with the ability to come up with unique and innovative event ideas.
  5. Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and ability to handle logistics and budgets.
  6. Technical Skills: Proficient in event management software and tools.
  7. Availability: Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to oversee events.

Salary: $125,000 - $135,000 a year
