**Job Responsibilities**
  1. Define and implement a **scalable architecture** for a **B2B SaaS platform**.
  2. Hiring and managing a team of 4+ **full stack developers**.
  3. Managing timelines and partnering with **product** to make important tradeoff decisions.
  4. Implementing best practices for the entire development team regarding writing tests, QA, documentation, etc.
  5. Ideate, build and maintain a **B2B SaaS platform** with a focus on **messaging infrastructure** and **accounting services**.
  6. Lead **API integrations**, ensuring seamless communication between various components of our internal platform.
  7. Oversee **server** and **database management**, optimizing performance, and ensuring data integrity.
  8. Collaborate with the team on the roadmap, providing technical insights and contributing to strategic planning.
  9. Utilize Jira for effective issue tracking, managing sprints, and facilitating collaboration within the development team.
  10. Develop and implement contingency plans to ensure platform stability and reliability.
**Requirements**
  1. A **scrappy self-starter** who has built software from the ground up.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Senior Full Stack Developer.
  3. Comfortable scoping out large projects and leading a team to deliver.
  4. Strong proficiency in system architecture, front-end and back-end technologies.
  5. Extensive experience in server and database management, particularly with AWS services.
  6. Hands-on experience with API documentation tools.
  7. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  8. Bonus points if you already have a network of other team members you would like to onboard.
  9. Bonus points for early stage startup experience.
  10. Bonus points for having built SaaS messaging products/features.
  11. Previous experience in the vacation rental industry is a plus.
  12. Experience with contingency planning for web applications.
