Public Finance Analysis Lead:
Fitch Group is seeking an experienced professional to lead our public finance analysis team in Latin America. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public finance and credit rating, with experience working in a bank credit department or a rating agency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the analysis and rating of public finance transactions in Latin America.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including issuers and investment banks.
- Work closely with senior members of the team to develop and implement credit ratings policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and developments in public finance and credit rating.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or Public Administration preferred.
- Proven public finance and credit rating skills gained in a bank credit department or a rating agency.
- Excellent modeling skills and thorough familiarity with spreadsheet-based financial models.
- Ability to read and fully comprehend complex project and debt documents and to ask probing questions to issuers and their advisers.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and display a strong degree of flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as required.
