Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong English level to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices, IT systems administration, a strong understanding of networking, security, and system administration, and software release management.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design, implement, and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  2. Automate software build, test, and deployment processes
  3. Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS)
  4. Implement and maintain containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  5. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
  6. Collaborate with development teams to improve software delivery processes
  7. Manage and maintain company-wide IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and end-user devices
  8. Ensure the security and integrity of company data and systems
  9. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for staff
  10. Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery systems
  11. Manage software licenses and hardware inventory
  12. Provision and configure servers
  13. Monitor and troubleshoot server issues
  14. Apply security patches and updates
  15. Manage network: provisioning of IP addresses, security and firewall rules, etc.
  16. Rightsizing and scaling servers
  17. Monitor spending and optimize costs
  18. Coordinate and schedule software releases across multiple teams and projects
  19. Ensure proper version control and documentation of releases
  20. Conduct release readiness reviews and manage release risks
  21. Create release branches
  22. Deploy to test environments
  23. Deploy to production
  24. Apply database schema and data migrations
  25. Document release notes
  26. Monitor and troubleshoot any issues
  27. Facilitate communication between development, QA, and operations teams
  28. Track and report on release metrics and KPIs
Requirements & Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  1. Main Skills:

These are the must-haves that are essential for this position.

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  2. 5+ years of experience in DevOps, IT administration, or related roles
  3. Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools mainly Azure DevOps and Octopus Deploy.
  4. Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, and CircleCI is considered nice to have
  5. Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, and PowerShell)
  6. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS and Azure) and Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation and Cloud Development Kit)
  7. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  8. Experience with monitoring tools: Datadog
  9. Strong understanding of networking, security, and system administration
  10. Experience with release management processes and tools
  11. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  12. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  13. Secondary Skills:

  1. Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, ITIL, Certified Scrum Master)
  2. Knowledge of agile methodologies and project management tools
  3. Experience in a multi-cloud environment
  4. Experience with additional CI/CD tools
  5. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools other than Terraform
  6. Experience with version control systems such as Git
  7. Experience with additional monitoring tools
