Job Description

As a Mobile Engineering Team Lead, you will drive the success of our software team, ensuring innovative, high-quality solutions that meet business needs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor talented software developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  • Talent Acquisition: Lead the hiring process for new team members, attracting and retaining top talent.
  • Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with senior leaders to ensure software projects align with Achievers' strategic goals.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee software development, testing, and deployment, adhering to coding standards and best practices.
  • Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvement in software development processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Project Management: Lead software projects from inception through completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope.
  • Executive Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management, participating in strategic planning sessions to shape the future of Achievers initiatives.
Requirements and Qualifications

We seek candidates with:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven leadership experience in software development management, with a deep technical background and hands-on coding expertise.
  • Demonstrated success in managing, mentoring, and building high-performing development teams.
  • Technical mastery in Swift, Kotlin, Java, GraphQL, SQL, and other modern mobile programming languages and technologies.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with experience crafting detailed technical documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset to identify inefficiencies and drive impactful improvements.
  • Cross-functional collaboration experience with Product Management, Data Science, and Business partners to align technical solutions with business objectives.
  • Architectural innovation skills to contribute to defining the broader architecture of our custom platform, ensuring scalability and effectiveness.
