Pediatric Cardiologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Cardiologist to join our team at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting diagnostic transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) in the inpatient and outpatient setting, as well as performing and providing in-the-moment interpretations on diagnostic transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) in the operating room, cardiac catheterization, and electrophysiology room settings.

• Interprets diagnostic transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) in the inpatient and outpatient setting on hearts with normal anatomy and complex congenital heart disease.
• Performs and provides in-the-moment interpretations on diagnostic transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) in the operating room, cardiac catheterization, and electrophysiology room settings on hearts with normal anatomy and complex congenital heart disease.
• Trains and mentors pediatric categorical cardiology fellows, as well as pediatric advanced cardiac imaging 4th year fellows.
• Helps to train and mentor pediatric cardiac sonographers.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in pediatric cardiology and cardiovascular imaging, with a minimum of 5 years of experience. Board certification or eligibility in pediatric cardiology is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of research and education, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
