Job Title: Senior Treasury Expert

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Treasury Expert to join our team in Bogota, Colombia. As a key member of our Client Accounting department, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the execution of payment confirmations, validating and confirming payment data input into our treasury management system (TMS), and strategically managing funds availability and liquidity.

About You: To succeed in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field, and at least 5 years of progressive experience in treasury management or related financial roles. You will also need to have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the execution of payment confirmations prior to processing, ensuring adherence to established protocols and regulatory requirements.">
  • Validate and confirm payment data input into the virtual banking platform, TMS or financial software, conducting thorough reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness.">
  • Strategically manage funds availability and liquidity, implementing advanced forecasting techniques and cash management strategies to optimize working capital and minimize financial risk.">
  • Assure SLA's (Service Level Agreements) with Local Office and clients.">
  • Bank Reconciliation: Lead the reconciliation of bank accounts and financial statements, proactively addressing discrepancies and implementing controls to mitigate risks associated with cash and treasury operations.">
  • Acting as a primary point of contact for banking relationships, negotiating terms and conditions, and resolving complex issues or inquiries in collaboration with senior management.">
  • Develop and implement treasury policies, procedures, and controls, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory standards.">
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management on treasury-related matters, including liquidity management, capital allocation, and investment opportunities.">
  • Maintain awareness of market trends, regulatory developments, and industry benchmarks, and incorporate relevant insights into treasury strategies and decision-making processes.">

What We Offer: As a Senior Treasury Expert with Tmf Group, you can expect a competitive salary, ranging from $60,000 to $80,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
