Taxation Specialist

Citi is a leading global bank seeking a skilled Tax Intermediate Analyst to join its team. This role plays a crucial part in managing the bank's tax liabilities, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage tax liabilities, including compliance, financial reporting, planning, and controversy processes.
• Contribute to tax planning, accounting, filing, and reporting.
• Determine and compile information required for income tax filings and related requirements.
• Participate in managing payments to tax authorities in compliance with specific tax regulations.
• Identify and resolve problems using autonomous judgment.
• Implement workflow or process changes and redesign.
• Accountable for regular reporting or process administration as 'owner'.
• Direct day-to-day work of junior-level employees.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in taxes or finance.
• Proficient in Office (Excel and advanced PowerPoint).
• Fully bilingual Spanish-English advanced level.
