Job Description:

As an E-commerce Financial Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of our dynamic, multi-channel clothing brand.

This position requires a proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented professional who can handle accounting and bookkeeping tasks as primary responsibility while supporting operations such as inventory planning, forecasting, logistics, and supply chain management.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily bookkeeping tasks using Xero, including data entry from Shopify and Amazon
  • Reconcile transactions from multiple e-commerce channels across different currencies
  • Prepare comprehensive monthly financial reports, including P&Ls for various market segments
  • Create consolidated balance sheets and cash flow statements
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore tax regulations and assist with filing procedures
  • Handle e-commerce-specific financial tasks and reconciliations
  • Maintain accurate financial records across multiple sales channels and currencies
  • Analyze financial data to provide insights for business decision-making
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inventory planning and forecasting to optimize stock levels
  • Manage logistics and supply chain processes
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and implement operational improvements
  • Monitor and analyze operational metrics to ensure efficiency
  • Support e-commerce operations as needed (preferred experience)

Requirements:

  • A self-starter with the initiative to anticipate business needs and work independently
  • Proven experience in accounting and bookkeeping, preferably in an e-commerce environment
  • Proficiency in Xero accounting software and familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Amazon FBA)
  • Strong understanding of Singapore tax regulations and filing procedures
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to manage complex financial data across multiple currencies
  • Meticulous attention to detail and capacity to work independently in a remote setting
  • Ability to create clear, insightful financial reports for various stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with an international team
  • Willingness to work part-time (20 hours per week) aligned with Singapore time zone
  • Willingness to work extra hours if required

Estimated Salary:** $45,000 - $60,000 per annum
