The Strategic Project Manager Americas will play a key role in helping to analyze and evaluate internal business plans and providing a framework for assurance of alignment and identification of gaps across various business areas.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Helping to analyze and evaluate internal business plans and providing a framework for assurance of alignment and identification of gaps across various business areas.
  • Tracking competitive trends, developing forecasting models and scenarios analysis, examining strategic performance, spotting emerging market opportunities, identifying business threats, looking for novel strategic solutions and developing creative action plans.
  • Working with Sales & Operations team of each country and rest of the Share Service organization to get support, define priorities, coordinate activities and to get relevant information for business management.
  • Preparing and contributing to the Regional and each country budget, forecast, monthly sales comment, strategic business reviews and other relevant business documents/presentations.
  • Looking for synergy in common initiatives and Sales & Operations activities in the Region.
  • Ensuring group and sales strategies, policies and applicable laws are fully respected.

Additionally, the role will involve continuously improving, implementing and executing the Global Blue process, including project planning.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting and helping to coordinate each local organization to ensure high quality execution of one-time projects and/or process changes.
  • Monitoring project schedules, budgets, analysis and log information.
  • Coordinating with internal/external stakeholders, reporting and handing over to the business.
  • Undertaking necessary business initiatives and working out decisions needed to achieve assigned objectives, to catch opportunities, to minimize risk exposure and to improve the quality of the team organization.
