Position Overview
We are seeking a talented and motivated Java software engineer who possesses extensive experience with MongoDB and a strong passion for modern technology and engineering practices. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Java and MongoDB to assist clients in implementing the latest MongoDB versions across a range of applications. You will play a pivotal role in team discussions and code evaluations, collaborating closely with colleagues to identify, prioritize, and deliver features that provide significant value to our clients. Additionally, you will mentor junior developers, fostering their growth and development.

Technical Skills and Experience Requirements
This position is ideal for a highly skilled developer with substantial experience in Java and MongoDB (or other NoSQL databases).
Essential Qualifications:
- Proficient in spoken and written English, with experience working directly with clients in the UK and US.
- Expertise in Java 8+, with familiarity in Java 11/14/17 and OpenJDK.
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases, including data modeling.
- Strong understanding of Spring technologies, particularly Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Spring Data.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Knowledge of synchronous and asynchronous communication methods.
- Familiarity with RESTful services.
- Experience with message queuing and/or topic-based communication.
- Proficient in Microservices Architecture, including containerization, high availability, and failover strategies.
- Experience in writing unit and integration tests.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerized applications.
- Experience with build tools like Maven/Gradle and CI/CD pipelines.
