**About Puntilla Distribution LLC**

Puntilla Distribution LLC is a dynamic music distribution company seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Head of Business Affairs. This key position oversees all legal and business aspects related to our artists, partners, and catalog.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of the music industry, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven track record in contract management and rights administration. The following are some of the primary responsibilities:

Contract Management

We are looking for someone who can effectively manage contract lifecycles, including options, renewals, amendments, and terminations. Additionally, they will ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate agreements, such as artist recording, licensing, distribution, and partnership agreements.
  • Manage contract cycles to ensure timely renewal and termination.
  • Maintain accurate records of contractual obligations and compliance.
Rights Management

The successful candidate will oversee the administration and exploitation of the company's music catalog, including copyright registration, royalty collection, and licensing. They should stay informed about evolving trends and best practices in music rights management.

  • Administer and exploit the company's music catalog to maximize revenue potential.
  • Monitor industry developments to ensure optimal rights management practices.
Business Affairs Administration

We require an individual who can develop and maintain efficient systems for contract management, rights administration, and other business affairs functions. They will implement and utilize relevant technologies to streamline processes.

  • Create and implement effective administrative systems for business affairs functions.
  • Utilize technology to enhance process efficiency and productivity.
Profitability Analysis

The Head of Business Affairs will identify and implement strategies to improve profitability and maintain healthy margins. They will analyze and monitor the performance of the label and distribution divisions.

  • Analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement.

Additional Duties and Skills
