About the Role

As a Financial Analyst Intern, you'll play a vital role in our accounting department, supporting the day-to-day oversight of disbursements and banking activities. Your expertise will be crucial in preparing monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and associated journal entries, ensuring compliance with internal controls and local country regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the preparation of monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and associated journal entries
  • Assist in the analysis and processing of financial data to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with internal controls and local country regulations
  • Present results and follow-through to completion for all initiatives
  • Process invoices on time and ensure accurate financial recording
  • Be familiar with accounting policies and procedures, and assist in their implementation
  • Contribute to miscellaneous ad hoc projects as assigned by management
Requirements
  • CURRENTLY pursuing a degree in Accounting or related field
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
  • Demonstrated excellent qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
  • Proficient with PC and Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint
  • Organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to deal with confidential subject matter
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work flexible hours when required
