We are seeking a highly skilled Technical DevOps Specialist to join our team. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in building and leading our team, driving continuous improvement and deployment best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Manage CarNow's deployment infrastructure, including EngineYard platform and custom cookbooks.
- Lead the transition to continuous improvement/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
- Administer and troubleshoot AWS services (EC2, S3, Redshift, DynamoDB, RDS, etc.).
- Audit, maintain, and enhance AWS infrastructure for security, scalability, and availability.
- Manage IAM (users, groups, policies) to ensure security compliance.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure/server performance issues (latency, CPU, memory).
- 5+ years of industry experience.
- 3+ years of AWS administration and infrastructure maintenance.
- 3+ years of direct DevOps experience.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with automation tools (Chef, Puppet, Jenkins), ELK Stack, and AWS deployment.
- Proficiency in software development and tools/languages (MySQL, SaaS, Git, Python, Shell scripting).
- Expertise in systems automation, orchestration, deployment, and implementation.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English B2/C1 required).
