A Creative Director - Visual Communications is a key creative professional responsible for directing and guiding the visual aspects of different projects. They will work on various aspects of advertising, acting as an art curator of visual identity, content, social media, and multimedia design, ensuring campaigns and digital projects are visually compelling and fit the brand aesthetic.

Responsibilities include creating concepts and visual elements that have a positive impact on consumers. They will be involved in all forms of brand communication, from traditional to digital advertising, giving the go-ahead to all communication inputs for our brands. This role works with ECD supervision and as part of a team, starting with a good understanding of the brief and then conceptualizing, generating ideas, and visual concepts.

Presenting ideas internally as well as to clients is a key aspect of this role. Ensuring a high standard of visual execution across all media is also crucial, as is the resilience to perform under pressure and deliver high-quality ideas and executions to tight deadlines. Ability to own a project from briefing to presentation is essential, as is the proactive coming up with new ideas when identifying opportunities.

This role also requires the ability to work with and nurture junior teams, checking their work and giving feedback when necessary. Managing multiple projects and presenting to the client are also key responsibilities. The successful candidate should have eight or more years of experience, with expertise in Photoshop and Illustrator. Premier Pro, After Effects, or other video tools are a plus, as is experience in developing ideas and layouts, from idea to implementation.

A deep understanding of advertising, design, and brand activation disciplines is required, as is a good awareness of digital and evolving online, mobile, and social platforms. The ability to work in a team environment, collaborate across multiple disciplines, and be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism is crucial. English skills (C1 level) are a requirement, as is the ability to clearly and effectively communicate ideas, solutions, and visual language to team members, stakeholders, and clients.

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience and location.
