We are in search of an experienced and strategic-thinking Senior Product Owner to lead our innovation team.
As a Senior Product Owner, you will be instrumental in defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, while providing mentorship to junior team members.
This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a proven track record in product development, extensive knowledge of agile methodologies, and a passion for driving continuous improvement.

100% remote in Colombia or Mexico

Responsibilities:

- Spearhead collaboration with cross-functional teams to define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives and user needs.
- Lead the development team in refining user stories, gathering requirements, and defining acceptance criteria.
- Drive and facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Act as a primary liaison between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring effective communication and expectations management.
- Conduct thorough market research, competitive analysis, and gather user feedback to drive strategic product decisions.
- Make data-driven decisions based on in-depth analysis, user research, and business goals to shape the product strategy.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Product Owner.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Expert understanding of agile methodologies.
- Proven leadership and mentorship skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- In-depth experience with user research techniques and market analysis.
- Track record of successfully launching and iterating on digital products.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Problem Solving:

○ Effective communication skills to convey ideas and requirements.

○ Basic project management skills.
○ Time management and prioritization of tasks.
- Product Management:
○ Product management skills, including roadmap planning and prioritization.
○ Business acumen and market analysis.
- Agile Methodology:
○ Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
○ Understanding of iterative development processes.
- Customer Advocacy:
○ Advocating for the end-users and ensuring their needs are prioritized.
○ Proactively seeking and incorporating customer feedback.
