Director of Corporate, Public Affairs & Policy (Healthcare)

My client is a globally renowned consultancy that is looking to add a person to their growing healthcare advisory team in Bogotá to support its LatAm operations. This is a crucial role overseeing and supporting various LatAm markets, sitting at the intersection of corporate, government, policy, and communications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead client relationships across pharmaceutical, biotech, medtech, and healthcare services accounts.

- Develop and execute integrated communications strategies that span media relations, reputation, corporate positioning, policy engagement, and patient advocacy.

- Provide senior counsel to C-suite executives on issues, market access, and reputational challenges.

- Manage a team of consultants, fostering professional development and best-in-class client delivery.

- Drive business growth through new business development, proposal leadership, and strengthening relationships across the healthcare ecosystem.

- Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure efficient and profitable project delivery.

- Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging healthcare narratives to provide proactive recommendations.

Qualifications

- 10+ years of experience in healthcare communications, corporate affairs, policy, or related fields, ideally in agencies across LATAM.

- Strong knowledge of the LATAM healthcare sector, including regulatory and policy dynamics.

- Proven ability to lead complex accounts and provide counsel at senior levels.

- Excellent writing, storytelling, and media engagement skills.

- Track record of team leadership and new business development wins.

- Mature, driven and can mentor the team to success.

- Proficiency in English and Spanish.
