The Opportunity

We’re looking for Quantum specialists with proven experience navigating complex disputes across LATAM and international markets, professionals who thrive in cross-border environments, bring commercial insight, and can deliver high-impact analysis that stands up to scrutiny on the global stage.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Advising clients on contractual and dispute-related matters, including claims strategy and resolution.
- Conducting forensic quantum analysis of large datasets and presenting findings in structured, compelling formats.
- Supporting expert witnesses with quantum assessments and drafting high-quality report sections.
- Reviewing project documentation and gathering evidence relevant to disputes.
- Liaising with client management, legal teams, and external counsel.
- Leading or contributing to internal training, mentoring junior consultants, and supporting business development initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

- Education : Degree-qualified in a construction-related discipline; a secondary legal qualification is highly desirable.
- Experience : Significant experience in international contracting, ideally within infrastructure, oil & gas, nuclear, or power generation sectors.
- Dispute Resolution : Strong background in adjudication, arbitration, and / or litigation, with hands-on experience preparing for formal proceedings.
- Quantum Expertise : Proven ability to conduct quantum analysis and produce high-quality reports.
- Analytical Skills : Exceptional attention to detail and ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Communication : Clear, persuasive communicator with excellent written and verbal skills in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
- Technology : Proficient in MS Excel and Word; familiarity with data analysis tools is a plus.
- Leadership : Strategic thinker with the ability to manage complex tasks and mentor others.
- Client Engagement : Comfortable building relationships and representing HKA with professionalism and credibility.
