Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled SAP Consultant specializing in Available-to-Promise (ATP), Backorder Processing (BOP), and Supply protection (SUP) within the SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in configuring and optimizing ATP checks, managing backorder scenarios & Supply protection and provide tech support on the ongoing issues and testing. You will work closely with the business teams to ensure seamless order fulfilment and effective order-to-cash processes.

Key Responsibilities

- ATP Configuration: Configure and optimize the Available-to-Promise (ATP) functionality to ensure accurate and real-time inventory availability checks during order processing.

- BOP Management: Manage and streamline the Backorder Processing system to prioritize and reprocess orders efficiently, ensuring customer expectations are met even in cases of stock shortages.

- SAP SD Module Expertise: Customize, configure, and support SAP SD modules, specifically focusing on Sales Order Processing, ATP checks, and integration with other SAP modules like MM.

- Supply protection (CA-ATP-SUP) - Issue Resolution and Support. Provide day-to-day SUP support to ongoing issues, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ATP, BOP, and Sales Orders.

- Business Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements to sales order processing, backorder handling, and ATP checks, aligning them with best practices in supply chain and order management.

- Testing and Go-Live Support: Support in system testing, including user acceptance testing (UAT), and provide go-live support during project rollouts.

- Strong experience with issue resolution, root cause analysis, and incident management in a support environment.

Required Skills and Experience

- SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) experience, with a deep understanding of ATP (Available-to-Promise) and BOP (Backorder Processing) functionalities.

- Experience with SAP APO (Advanced Planning and Optimization) or SAP S/4HANA for ATP and Supply Chain Optimization is a plus.

- ABAP knowledge is a must for troubleshooting, debugging the code with minimum support from outside.

- Experience in Business Process Re-engineering related to Sales Order Processing, ATP, and BOP.

Education and Certifications

- A degree in Business, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

- SAP Certification in SD, SCM, or S/4HANA is highly preferred.

- Certified SAP Functional Consultant (SD or SCM) is a strong advantage.

- Excellent communication skills for working with stakeholders at various levels of the organization.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex issues related to ATP, SUP and BOP.
