Job Summary

The Manager, Technology Sourcing Shared Services will support the Head of Sourcing in leading and managing the shared services sourcing team in Bogota. This role focuses on operational excellence in technology procurement and sourcing, ensuring the efficient and effective procurement of technology goods and services. The position requires strong leadership, a background in supplier management, and the ability to work across various departments and regions. The ideal candidate will prioritize the growth and well‑being of their team members, fostering a collaborative and empowering work environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Leadership and Management: Support the Head of Sourcing in leading a team of technology sourcing professionals, including Analysts and Senior Analysts, ensuring alignment with Visa’s operational goals and objectives, providing mentorship, guidance, and opportunities for growth.

- Strategic Sourcing: Support the development and implementation of sourcing strategies that drive and optimize cost savings, quality, efficiency, and delivery performance. Identify and evaluate potential technology suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with Visa’s standards.

- Operational Excellence: Ensure efficient and effective procurement and sourcing of technology goods and services while maintaining transparency and adhering to best practices. Implement continuous improvement initiatives and provide data analysis and reporting to the Sourcing Leadership Team.

- Stakeholder Collaboration: Communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Technology, Finance, Legal, and other departments, to ensure alignment and support of sourcing initiatives; act as a liaison to facilitate smooth operations.

- Supplier Relationship Management: Develop, manage, and grow strong relationships with current and future technology suppliers; monitor performance and address issues to ensure high‑quality service delivery and compliance with Visa policies.

- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with Visa’s policies, identify and mitigate sourcing risks, and maintain regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

- Minimum of 7 years of experience in technology sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.

- Ability to articulate software licensing and hardware procurement strategies.

- Strong leadership and team‑management skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a cross‑functional and global environment.

- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

- Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.

- Professional certification in supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP).

- Experience working in a shared services environment.
