Louis Vuitton is looking for a Financial Controller with a strong focus on Internal Control and compliance for the Mediterranean region.

The Financial Controller oversees Internal Control / Financial Operations monitoring as well as Financial Planning and Analysis within the whole Mediterranean zone (Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Greece, Israel, Turkey and Kazakhstan). He reports to the Regional Controlling and Internal Control Manager and is a key business partner for the region as part of the regional finance team based in Madrid Head Office.

In a fast‑growing environment and in a strong retail development context, the Financial Controller provides quality reports, financial analysis, business and operational support to the Mediterranean Region and the Paris EMEA Zone. He travels regularly in the region to perform store operations reviews, reinforce internal control and ensure compliance with local requirements.

Responsibilities

- Provide stores’ Operations Support / Ensure good level of regional Internal Control and local regulations compliance

- Guarantee a strong level of internal control within the region for head office and stores, notably through regular operational reviews in all Mediterranean stores including action plans.

- Continuously improve procedures within the region, with a positive business mindset and keeping local regulations in mind.

- Ensure compliance with all major Group and local Internal Control official frameworks such as ERICA for LVMH or Corporate Governance program.

- Perform monthly key internal controls (sensitive transactions, payments, inventory).

- Foster awareness of risk and control – encouraging a business culture that seeks continuous improvements.

- Optimize Regional Profitability: bring new ideas with creative and proactive spirit

- Close follow‑up of operational expenses.

- Provide each head office department with detailed budget and costs follow‑up. Follow up on stores’ running.

- Guarantee a fluid purchasing process in line with LV standards and budget.

- Maintain contingency plan, analyze cost risk and.

- Support the regional teams through Financial Planning and Business Analysis

- Follow‑up of retail activities, KPIs and financial operations.

Profile

Master's degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a business controller in a multinational company, ideally with experience in the retail sector. Strong Internal Control / Audit experience is a strong plus for the Mediterranean region.
