We are South and our client is looking for an Amazon PPC Manager - Account Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled PPC Manager / Account Manager with deep expertise in Amazon Advertising to manage and optimize high-budget ad campaigns.
This remote role is a hybrid between PPC management (75%) and Client communication (25%), requiring both strong analytical skills and excellent client-facing communication.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing Amazon PPC accounts with budgets exceeding $50,000 per month, using tools like Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or SmartScout for keyword research and optimization.
They should also have a strong understanding of Amazon's broader ecosystem, including how PPC interacts with organic rankings, inventory, and the overall flywheel effect.
While reporting is automated through our fully functional BI system, the PPC Manager will be responsible for analyzing the data, providing strategic insights, and explaining their decision-making process.
Client-facing interactions will be minimal, with a maximum of 3-4 hours per week dedicated to client calls and formal yet client-friendly email communication.
Key Responsibilities: Develop, manage, and optimize Amazon PPC campaigns (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and DSP if applicable).
Handle advertising budgets north of $50,000/month, optimizing campaigns to improve ROAS, TACoS, and profitability while meeting client KPIs.
Utilize Helium 10, Jungle Scout, SmartScout, or similar Amazon tools for keyword research and ongoing campaign optimization.
Analyze real-time data, identify trends, and implement strategic changes to improve campaign effectiveness.
Monitor competitive advertising strategies and adjust approaches accordingly.
Work with internal teams to align PPC strategies with organic ranking, inventory, and product lifecycle goals (understanding the Amazon Flywheel).
Review automated BI reports and provide strategic analysis and insights tailored to client objectives.
Maintain a formal but client-friendly email communication style.
Be available for 3-4 hours of client calls per week, clearly articulating campaign performance, strategies, and recommendations.
Assist clients in setting realistic KPIs based on their goals and market conditions.
Qualifications: 3+ years of Amazon PPC experience with a proven track record of managing high-budget campaigns ($50K+/month).
Expertise in Amazon Advertising, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and ideally, DSP.
Strong proficiency in Amazon tools for keyword research and market analysis.
Deep understanding of the Amazon Flywheel, including how PPC impacts organic ranking, inventory planning, and overall brand growth.
Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data-driven insights and translate them into actionable strategies.
Strong communication skills – capable of writing client-friendly emails and speaking thoroughly and professionally on calls.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate with internal teams.
Preferred Skills: Experience with Amazon DSP.
Familiarity with inventory forecasting and its impact on PPC.
Knowledge of SEO and how it interacts with paid media.
Understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) for Amazon listings.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm EST Compensation Range: $2,500 - $3,500 USD / month.
