Job Summary: Flxpoint.com is looking for a Java Developer to work closely with the CEO, engineering, and product teams to help build and upscale Flxpoint's platform.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Java and has light experience with AI model integrations, prompt engineering, and working with AI-driven applications.
Qualifications: 2+ years of experience working in a developer role.1+ years integrating AI workflows, wrappers, logic into web applicationsHigh proficiency working in JavaSome proficiency working in front end development.
React or Vue preferred but not required.Efficient and organized with the ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasksTimely and efficient communication of technical concepts and issues as they relate to both high level product and low level code Technical Concepts that should be understood : Experience with the following frameworks are requiredSpringVueJOOQ (or similar builder style ORM) SQL - selects, updates, inserts, joins, indexing, foreign keys, constraints, ascades, data typing, normalization, and relationshipsGit (branching & handling merge conflicts) build/mergeOpen API speccing with clean and reasonable interfacesDependency InjectionUnit Testing (JUnit, Mockito)Dependency Management (NPM, Maven)Abstracting code structurally (DRY programming)Analyzing IO / Network / DB bottlenecks for performance gainsBig(O) - memory and time complexitiesCaching solutions (i.e.
