Job Overview Employment type: Indefinite Term Type Contract Shift: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM PST Work setup: Onsite, Bogotá and Medellín Your Daily Tasks Drafting & Modeling Generate accurate site plans, floor plans, and architectural drawings in Revit using point cloud scans.
Build and maintain a standard detail library within Revit to streamline workflows.
Create, modify, and maintain Revit families for improved efficiency and consistency.
Architectural Documentation Prepare floor plans, elevations, and sections based on project requirements.
Develop construction documentation for field use, including technical details and annotations.
Create shop drawings for fabrication (millwork, steel structures, fencing, etc.).
Draft site work documentation, including concrete foundations, drainage systems, and grading plans.
Collaborate with structural, MEP, and civil engineers to ensure design integration.
Ensure compliance with U.S. building codes (California Building Code knowledge is a plus).
Maintain as-built documentation for project records and future reference.
Project Close-Out Support Compile cut sheets for materials used in the project.
Ensure as-built drawings and final project documentation are properly updated.
Maintain a document management system for accessibility and accuracy.
Quality Control & Assurance Conduct thorough quality checks to identify and resolve drafting errors.
Verify dimensions, alignments, and scale for precision in all deliverables.
Incorporate feedback from architects, engineers, and project managers.
Collaboration & Communication Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate architectural drawings with other project components.
Participate in project meetings and design reviews to ensure alignment with construction objectives.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, clients, and internal teams to resolve drafting concerns.
