We are South and our client is looking for a Senior Accountant Note to Applicants: Eligibility: This position is open to candidates residing in Latin America.Application Language: Please submit your CV in English.

While this is optional, candidates who provide a video presentation will be given priority.Job Summary: We are searching for a motivated Senior Accountant with strong accounting skills, multitasking ability, and exceptional communication and time management skills.
The Senior Accountant will plan and direct accounting activities related to accounts receivable, accounts payable, and the general ledger.
Additionally, they may assist with tax compliance.
Key Responsibilities: 1.
Accounts ReceivableVerify, post, and manage the collection of all accounts receivable.Coordinate and match all cash, check, ACH, and wire deposits.Supervise, collect, manage, and organize W-2s, reseller permits, and cannabis licenses.Monitor aging receivables, collaborate with the sales team and external customers regarding outstanding accounts, and oversee A/R reporting for management.Manage credit applications from customers.2.
Accounts PayableSet up and maintain all vendor records in BC (Business Central).Review all invoices for proper documentation and approval before entry into BC.Verify, post, and manage payments for all accounts payable and vendor invoices.Supervise, collect, manage, and organize W-2s and vendor 1099s.3.
General LedgerMaintain financial records (and supporting documents) in an orderly and accessible manner within BC.Prepare, enter, and post journal entries to record financial activity for month-end processes.Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures and reconciliations.Provide analyses of monthly financial statements, identify trends, and proactively report findings to management.Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.Requirements: 5+ years' accounting experience.Excellent management and supervisory skills.Strong verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of the organization.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (required).As a plus: Experience with Business Central ERP.Perks: Job Type: Full-time.Unlimited PTO.US federal holidays.Growth opportunities within the companyCompensation: 2,000 - 2,400 USD / month
