Title And Summary Director, Product Management Acceptance Product Management – Director Overview Job Description Summary: In partnership with regional Merchant and Acceptance teams and cross-functional partners around the globe, Global Acceptance Solutions works to expand merchant acceptance and help merchants and acquirers grow their businesses through Acceptance solutions and programs.
Acceptance is a foundational pillar of Mastercard's success, complementing our technology, franchise, brand and customer relationships to support and grow Mastercard's network.
The Global Acceptance Product Management Director is a high-exposure role, working alongside senior leadership and executive teams to shape Mastercard's global acceptance strategy, lead projects that drive Global Acceptance priorities and advance our pursuit of inorganic opportunities to grow.
The role requires a unique combination of strategic thinking, product management, and analytics.
The Acceptance Product Management Director requires an agile and flexible approach as you will work alongside a wide range of cross-functional partners to define and pursue Global Acceptance priorities.
Responsibilities: Create and define a regional go-to-market strategy for commercializing our Acceptance, Merchants and Solution products, identifying new revenue opportunities, broadening our footprint, and ensuring clear product differentiation over the competition.
Integrate Global Acceptance objectives and targets into regional plans working closely with regional management and Market Development.
Meet targets by developing and supporting the right products and strategies, sharing best practices, and delivering sales support.
Raise the profile and awareness of the Acceptance and Merchants solutions within the Region with periodic communications, product demos, events, and management briefings.
Ensure that the Global Acceptance and Solutions team incorporates local and regional issues into the overall framework of Global Acceptance Strategies.
Serve as the single point of contact to regional personnel for issues related to the Global Acceptance function.
Lead Acceptance at the Base of the Pyramid in the region, engaging with regional team members to drive Acceptance and develop products.
Develop and manage Payment facilitator models and their contribution to targets.
Represent regional views in the development and execution of the Global Acceptance strategy.
Support relationships with local key acceptance value chain players in coordination with the Market Development team.
Act as a regional contact for highlights for Global Acceptance & Solutions management reports.
Knowledge/Experience: Proven expertise in the payments industry, specifically Acceptance.
Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver products and solutions for customer needs.
Ability to influence people at multiple levels in a global organization.
Ability to execute in a dynamic environment across multiple functional disciplines.
Fully embraces the digital world and understands its importance for future growth.
About You: Skilled at building and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers.
Self-starter with initiative, passion, and agility.
Bachelor's Degree Required, MBA Or Advanced Degree Preferred Corporate Security Responsibility: Abide by Mastercard's security policies and practices; Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed; Report any suspected information security violation or breach; Complete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard's guidelines.
