L3 Support Engineer

Job Description Applications management involves overseeing the lifecycle of software applications, including deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and optimization to ensure they meet business requirements and deliver value effectively. As an L3 Support Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of software applications, ensuring their stability, performance, and continuous improvement.
You will provide advanced technical support, investigate and resolve complex issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
Responsibilities: Implement new functionalities required by the business.
Fix defects identified in the environments.
Conduct functional testing for implemented defect fixes/changes.
Investigate and analyze defects, providing appropriate fixes promptly.
Provide regular updates on task progress.
Work closely with Product, QA, Release Management, and Development teams to prioritize and resolve issues efficiently.
Collaborate with DevOps and release management teams to support deployments.
Ensure secure coding practices that meet high-performance and scalability needs.
Qualifications 4+ years of hands-on experience with Java.
Experience with one or more relational databases: Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.
Experience working with RESTful APIs.
Strong skills in troubleshooting, supporting, and administering applications.
Good understanding of software design principles (refactoring, SOLID, design patterns).
Knowledge of web applications and back-end systems from end to end.
Understanding of project lifecycle and operational processes.
Customer-focused mindset with a service-oriented approach.
Excellent time management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
