Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to drive service sales processes, generate service sales opportunities and secure profitable sales within the designated areas.
Each day, you will focus on Installed Base (IB) penetration and selling the entire Service product portfolio.
You will also showcase your expertise by building long-term customer relationships and ensuring immediate response to specific customer needs and issues.
The work model for the role is: hybrid #LI-hybrid.
This role is contributing to the Electrification business in Colombia.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Penetrating into IB, promoting various upgrades, retrofits, and value-add solutions to the benefit of the customers and ABB.Understanding the channel strategy and the establishment of related prices, and preparing sales plans, reviewing them, and proposing recovery plan(s) when needed.Generating service sales leads and developing new market opportunities by utilizing market trend information and through identifying and exploring potential new service portfolios.Acting as a marketer/salesperson of ABB's service products and solutions during marketing activities (campaigns, trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, customer meetings).Qualifications for the roleYou are immersed in medium and low voltage electrical distribution equipment and enjoy working with protection relays, customer management, and segment knowledge in the Colombian market.Ability to demonstrate your experience in service sales (must) with 3 to 5 years of experience in Electrifications services segment.Possess an enhanced knowledge of isolation facilities switchgear, medium and low voltage equipment, retrofits, and modernization.You are passionate about flexibility, compromise, curiosity, supervisory skills, self-care & care for others.Degree in electrical engineering, electronics, electrical mechanics, mechatronics, or related.You are at ease communicating in English at an intermediate level.You are available to travel around 70 to 80%.What's in it for you?Flexibility: we have hybrid work options, make the best out of themWork in a company with a strong technology legacy and deeply rooted in local communities.Enjoy a supportive and solution-driven team environment.More about usWe value people from different backgrounds.
