The Markets Business Assistant is an intermediate-level position responsible for providing clients with resolutions and support in coordination with internal teams. The overall objective of this role is to provide advice and be the point of contact for clients regarding foreign exchange trading and other markets affairs.

Responsibilities:
Monitor the respective process areas for each agreed-upon transaction (FX, Term Deposits, Forward, etc.).
Provide advice and support to the client and the Treasury team. Act as the point of contact for escalations and coordinate with internal teams to provide solutions to clients, as needed.
Develop and maintain a client portfolio through regular calls and personal interaction, as needed.
Inform clients of developments (system failures, market issues) and provide regular solution updates.
Identify clients who require the implementation of a new product or service to ensure timely settlement of their transactions.
Maintain awareness of new regulatory and market requirements that affect the client base/portfolio.
Appropriately assess risk when making business decisions, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and protecting Citigroup, its clients, and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues transparently.

Qualifications:

• 2 to 5 years of experience in customer service and Treasury products is preferred.
Relevant experience in a financial/commercial environment is desirable.
Intermediate English proficiency (writing/speaking) is essential.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence, lead, and work as a team player.
Consistently high-quality customer service with a focus on developing customer relationships and achieving quality results.
Ability to handle urgent cases and escalations, managing customer and internal team expectations.

Education:
Bachelor's degree/university degree in administrative, financial, industrial engineering or related fields
