Learn more at Job Function: Supply Chain Planning Job Sub Function: Demand Planning Job Category: Professional All Job Posting Locations: Bogotá Distrito Capital, Colombia Job Description: We are searching for the best talent for Sr Demand Planner to be in Bogotá, Colombia.
Purpose: Sr Demand Planner will be responsible for leading the monthly IBP to create the most accurate demand plan, incorporating risks, opportunities, tender scenarios, new product introduction, and all the variables that may impact the demand plan.
The role involves developing scenarios to generate profitability, leveraging procedure demand planning to improve visibility, and fostering strategic plans with multiple stakeholders.
The demand planner will represent the Northern Cluster in meetings with the Regional Planning teams to proactively improve demand projections and product availability.
You will be responsible for: Participating in budget planning and yearly targets in alignment with Finance and Commercial teams.
Generating statistical modeling for different groups of codes.
Reviewing, monitoring, and reporting monthly performance indicators, as well as conducting root cause analysis on deviations.
Analyzing and giving recommendations on projections and optimization opportunities related to market trends and performances.
Leading the monthly forecast sharing process with specific distributors and generating key strategies to improve MAPE.
Participating or leading in supply chain projects.
Building productive relations with other relevant departments across the organization.
Applying credo values in an open and ethical manner.
Being a key business partner with supply planner and inventory planning for successful product availability.
Being a key business partner in local and regional lifecycle management projects.
Monitoring back orders and developing strategies to minimize lack of product impacts.
Enabling service level OTIF improvement by aligning commercial strategies with operational guidance.
Developing collaborative planning strategies with specific customers.
Qualifications / Requirements: Bachelor's in engineering, business administration, or similar.
Demand planning related experience.
Supply planning related experience (5+ years).
Advanced English proficiency.
Database analysis skills.
IBP / S&OP structure or implementation related experience.
Advanced Excel skills (will be tested).
SAP APO / SAP ECC experience.
Leadership skills with a strong ability to plan and execute projects.
Problem solver with effective communication, courage, assertiveness, and pragmatism.
Preferred: Medical Devices experience.
Power BI experience.
APICS Certification.
Other: No travel required.
