Cognitus Consulting is seeking an SAP Basis Architect looking for long-term growth and career enhancing opportunities leveraging SAP to solve our customer’s most challenging issues.

Job Purpose and Impact

The SAP Basis architect has overall accountability for ensuring technical build & run of the ERP/SAP landscape meets best practices for technical requirements and aligns to industry best practices.

Key Accountabilities
- Provides systems architecture and design of SAP systems related deliverables ensuring successful rollouts/implementation for SAP across different client projects
- Plan SAP modernizations, upgrades and migrations
- Have a deep understanding of current SAP solutions and create awareness on SAP’s roadmap of new products and technologies.
- Evaluate version and module compatibility to propose upgrade approach. Work with various stakeholders for all connected systems are compatible for SAP upgrades
- Reviews and validates detailed technical documentation for proposed solutions ensuring business needs are addressed and adherence to existing operational governance and processes.
- Hands on coaching and on-the-job training of junior resources in your team

**Qualifications**:
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of six years of related work experience
- Other minimum qualifications may apply

Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in installation and technical configuration of SAP S/4 HANA, Fiori, PO, SAP CPI, Cloud connector, Solution Manager, Data Hub solutions within major cloud IaaS platforms
- Proven contributions to highly complex projects that require in-depth SAP technical knowledge
- Expertise related to the design and deployment of High Availability and DR solutions for SAP landscapes
- Deep technical knowledge of the relevant part(s) of the SAP infrastructure, Linux/Windows operating environment and HANA, Oracle & SQL databases.
- Corresponding SAP certifications
