**_The Associate Client Manager _**has an important role in the Regional Center South America (RCSA) in supporting the management of existing treaties and participating in the development/ implementation of strategic business initiatives with current and prospect clients.

We would expect you to be an active member of the assigned Client Teams and to support the efforts of generating profitable new business opportunities, building and sustaining client relationships, carrying out project work, and bringing the full Munich Re franchise to our clients in the South America (excluding Brazil) region.

**Your Job**:
**In-Force Book of Business & Client Management ~50%**
- Responsible for building consensus within Client Teams regarding proposal and renewal offers
- Support Client Teams for assigned clients and/or markets in the definition of client strategies, prioritized business engines and business development activities
- Support Client Teams with the management of existing treaties including active participation during renewal negotiations
- Manage selected existing treaties and clients to build experience.
- Collaborate with relevant internal/external partners to manage client results, ensuring all contractual obligations are met and raise issues where required.
- Build and manage MR relationship for assigned markets with regulator, insurance association and other key stakeholders (rating agencies, consultants, lawyers, etc.).Assist in various tasks such as client audits and annual reviews.

**Business Development & Project Management ~ 50%**
- Participates in identifying growth areas for MR and in generating new business opportunities. Some examples are:

- Support the client in optimizing the use of capital in light of the upcoming risk-based capital regulation in close cooperation with Capital Partners.
- Co-creation efforts on the products side to tackle the current and future challenges and needs of the insureds, as well as developing distribution strategies for specific markets and client segments via new and established platforms
- Data analytics projects in order to obtain better insights into what might provide a competitive advantage to your clients
- Other Strategic Business Fields such us Cyber, SME and Parametric covers
- Support Client Teams in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives and/or ongoing or new projects

**Your Profile**
- Very good understanding of primary insurance and reinsurance; relevant underwriting know-how, ideally in different lines of business
- Strongly pronounced commercial orientation coupled with the ability to build viable, sustainable relationships with important decision-makers in the client organization and with sales partners.
- Sound understanding of corporate finance and capital management (accounting and reporting standards, accounting and supervisory regulations)
- Knowledge of marketing and sales concepts: ability to transfer the results of analyses into the sales pitch. Strong presentation skills
- High interest in innovation combined with creativity, initiative, and entrepreneurship
- Highly motivated and dedicated, ability to integrate and motivate others, strong team player
- Very good negotiating skills and assertiveness
- Project management skills is desirable
- Business-fluent Spanish and English Skills (written and spoken)
- South America Market Knowledge
