Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will develop creative, engaging, and functional design elements to tell our brand story, serve our business mission and address our client needs. You will leverage your technology and design skills to work quickly and efficiently, without sacrificing quality. You have a well-rounded skill set and have no trouble taking initiative to seek solutions if they present themselves. You know when to focus on collaboration, when to push forward independently, when to delegate to junior designers, and when to get your hands dirty.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist in the evolution of our social media strategy, ensuring our creative content is optimized for each social platform’s unique strenths.
- Design our website with UX/UI principles in mind, ensuring landing pages convert to sales.
- Develop eye-catching ad campaign creative strategies that help garner interest and generate leads.
- Leverage key graphic design principles to ensure pixel-perfect graphics, typography, icons, infographics, and other layout/formatting elements.
- Add life to our brand story through motion graphics, animation, and video.
- Prepare for key projects via research, including gathering data and key materials.
- Generate clear ideas, concepts and designs of creative assets and be prepared to present with a rationale that can back up those ideas.
- Work collaboratively to ensure a consistent, integrated brand and user experience.
- Translate business requirements, user needs, technical requirements into designs that are visually enticing, easy to use, and emotionally engaging.
- Staying in the loop and on top of the latest standards, changes, trends in the visual design field.
**Requirements**:
- Fluent in English
- A minimum of five years of professional experience in a visual design role.
- A minimum of two years in a lead position with direct reports.
- Agency experience planning ad campaigns for clients is stongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, be pixel perfect.
- Strong understanding of design principles.
- Comfortable researching and presenting ideas.
- Excellent time and priority management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Well organized, responsible and dedicated, with the ability to work on multiple projects and deliver refined design quickly.
- Self-learning, able to learn new tools quickly and work in a fast-evolving environment.
**Technical Requirements**:
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, After Effects, Premiere and Sketch).
- Intermediate HTML/CSS, Wordpress, etc.
- Advanced Social Media (Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube) - Business page management
- ** Nice to Have**:Hubspot, Mailchimp, Google Adwords, Google Analytics
**Portfolio**:
- Submit a digital portfolio with examples of your work.
- Only show your best work. It’s not about volume, it’s about the diversity and breadth of your skillsets, e.g. graphic design (layout/composition), web design, UX/UI design, ads, infographics, collateral, animation, video, etc.
- Be sure to provide context when/where necessary.
