**The position: Business Development Representative**
As our Business Development Representative, you’ll be responsible for selling the Angel Host solution to Vacation Rental Property Managers in Canada, the US, Latin America, and the Caribbean. This position is ideal for you if you love a consultative sales approach (longer sales cycle).
Being friendly, welcoming, and helpful is at the core of our DNA, which is why we are committed to providing incredible value to the Property Managers we work with. We treat our clients with the utmost care, ensuring that we obtain the best results for their short-term rental properties.
Because you’ll be among our first Business Development Representatives, you’ll have an exciting opportunity to develop and advance in your career, as our company is projected to grow exponentially in the coming months.
**Specifically, we need you to**:
- Cultivate deep relationships with strategic partners that could help speed up our sales process;
- Qualify leads and prospective clients to ensure they meet Angel Host’s criteria;
- Produce listing performance audits and proposals to help educate prospective clients;
- Book appointments for senior Account Executives who manage the end of the sales cycle;
- Handle objections with a consultative approach;
- Record all your activity in our CRM system;
- Meet or exceed your sales targets.
**Is this job for you? Well, it is if**:
- You are fully fluent in Spanish and English, both speaking and writing. You must know how to be concise yet professional;
- You have experience using Hubspot or are familiar with other CRM’s;
- You carry an entrepreneurial spirit and possess the hustle it takes to get in front of the right people, overcome rejection, and always follow up;
- You possess strong interpersonal skills: your presence, tone, and language should build trust;
- You possess strong organizational skills, enabling you to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritize them accordingly;
- You have strong initiative: you’re not the type of person that waits for someone to tell you what needs to be done. The words “this isn’t my responsibility” aren’t part of your vocabulary;
- You have the ability and desire to work for a growing, fast company in a startup environment;
- You are comfortable with a flexible work schedule: calls and meetings with Property Managers are sometimes scheduled after 5 pm or on weekends;
- You love to laugh and be part of an awesome team
