This position is responsible for contributing to overall project goals and team-specific deliverables, performing own work and tasks, supervising, monitoring and control of team member roles, providing guidance where needed (this includes Technical or methodological mentoring and PM/client consulting if needed), also be a common point for resolution of conflicts, and main responsible for risk management.
In essence, this is a servant leadership role that facilitates and supports our teams in delivering high value solutions to our customers. This role is expected to maintain constant communication with the Project TchL(Project Technical Lead), participating in different scenarios to share experiences and lessons learned to maintain a common organizational approach to situations faced by clients. Likewise, interact and participate in internal projects according to the assignment and availability.
- Responsible for people management up to 50 FTE.
- Maximum of 5 projects.
- Build and maintain operative KPIs as a velocity, compliance, technical debt.
- Identify team & clients' needs thru the information given across the agile ceremonies or status report meetings, then determine together with the SDM how to meet them keeping in mind the context of the business and in a cost-effective manner, minimizing risks and taking advantage of a positive opportunities.
- Control and following the project plan created together with the TchL and the team.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with client’s project manager/scrum master based on trust, quality of the delivery, high team performance, proactive communications, and thought leadership.
- Ensures clear understanding of assigned tasks to the team and lead the estimates effort and timeline for assigned deliverables
- Responsible for teach and maintain agile methodology (if needed)
- Report potential delays promptly and present alternative plans to avoid or recover from them
- Ensures completion of assigned team tasks on time and to specified quality
- Responsible for ramping up, training and coaching new DLs.
- Responsible on risk management.
- Identifies improvement opportunities in either project, sprint or team performance and design proposals to close gaps and mobilize everyone toward growth and development
- Escalation point for team members.
- Responsible for providing feedback and assess team members performance.
- Constantly helping to maintain the quality level of the delivery.
- Constantly helping to develop new initiatives company’s grow.
**Qualifications**:
