What to expect in this role
We are seeking a highly skilled and senior-level Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Blankfactor, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing our CI/CD pipeline, automating infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our Kubernetes clusters in a multi-DC environment. Your expertise in AWS, scripting, and troubleshooting will be instrumental in achieving our goals.- AWS Infrastructure: _Design and manage AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.- Cloud Services:_ Implement and optimize AWS services, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.- Networking:_ Develop and manage networking architecture within AWS, including VPCs, subnets, and security groups.- CI/CD Pipeline_: Lead the design and maintenance of our CI/CD pipeline to enable efficient and reliable software deployments.- Infrastructure Automation:_ Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform and Ansible.-
- Logging and Monitoring:_ Oversee the logging and monitoring solutions to proactively identify and address system issues.- Root Cause Analysis:_ Participate in the Root Cause Analysis process to identify and prevent recurring incidents.- Documentation:_ Maintain comprehensive documentation to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing.- High Availability:_ Design and implement solutions that prioritize high availability and minimize downtime.-
- Collaboration:_ Establish and maintain strong working relationships with development and NOC teams.- Communication:_ Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical concepts clearly and concisely.
Qualifications and Tech Proficiency- 5+ years of experience in DevOps roles.- Expertise in scripting languages for automation.- Extensive experience working with containers.- Proficiency in Kubernetes, including maintaining production-grade clusters and utilizing Helm.- Hands-on experience in AWS cloud environment.- Strong knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or equivalent).- Proficiency in configuration management (Ansible or equivalent).- Linux server administration skills.- Familiarity with Kafka, networking, and GitOps is a plus.- A proactive "Can-do attitude" and a commitment to continuous improvement.
