WHAT YOUâLL DO:
The Junior BI Developer is responsible for executing and testing product functionality on a basic level and work consistently under the mentorship of a Senior BI Developer to grow his/her BI knowledge and be able to undertake more complex tasks over time.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Design and Develop Business Intelligence modules and components
- Applies best practice SQL scripting, SSIS Integration, SSAS Cube or Tabular Model Design, SSRS Report generation. Gives guidance in specific topics.
- Provides beginner to intermediate development of BI modules using low level development languages such as C# and VB.NET
- Ensure the delivery of reliable and accurate BI components or modules to clients.
- Guarantee the Quality of the BI modules delivered to clients.
- Assure the effective support of BI components to clients.
- Ensure customer satisfaction

Methodology
- Implement development methodologies with a focus on productivity and results-orientation.
- Monitors data components in accordance with the development life cycle; assures compliance with quality standards
- Promote teamwork and empower employees.
- Develop to work with effective communication

Innovation
- Implementation of automation and self-service elements in the solutions.
- Incorporate new technologies or methodologies in BI processes
- Incorporate best practices and standards for BI Development and Operations.
- Propose and implement SLAs, KPIs, and metrics for the BI solution.
- Implement BI components development and operation analytics elements to identify improvement opportunities
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

- Bachelors or master’s degree related to computer science, software development, Information Technology or related field.
- 1 to 2 years’ experience in designing, developing ETL Programs, and creating technical design documentation for ETL Programs.
- Knowledge of industry-accepted Software Development Life Cycle (i.e., Agile and iterative processes).
- Basic experience in BI development as a developer, the capability to understand high level architectural concepts.
- Basic experience working with Microsoft related Business Intelligence tools, specifically SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS
- Strong SQL skills
- Knowledge about SQL Query, T-SQL and SSIS Package Optimization.
- Beginner knowledge of C#/VB.NET is a required.
- Knowledge on any of the following Visualization Tools: (QlikView, Tableau, PowerBI)
- Technology Certifications is a Plus
- Good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
- Good analysis skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. (Proficient English is necessary)
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
