A Technology Sales Engineer role in IBM Cloud means a career where you're leading prospective clients towards benefiting from using IBM Cloud Paks and Red Hat OpenShift products. It means you'll be directly impacting their adoption of next-generation hybrid cloud platforms to develop, run and manage workloads of some of the world’s most influential enterprises and brands.

Your Role and Responsibilities
- Work with clients, partners and other areas of IBM as a Subject Matter Expert in the pre-sales, utilization and adoption of database software solutions, management, integration, governance and data quality, as well as advanced data analysis and data science and artificial intelligence.
- Define architectures and solutions together with clients, partners and other areas of IBM.
- Execute demonstrations and proofs of concept to show and confirm the advantages and capabilities of data portfolio solutions.
- Resolve queries and problems that may arise as a result of using data portfolio solutions.
- Recommend best practices and propose improvements in the use of data portfolio solutions
- Experience in Cloud architecture design
- Experience in pre-sales and/or delivery of Cloud services.
- Competencies in design thinking, architecture and development principles to convince partners to adopt IBM technology in solutions, practices and offerings.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

IBM Automation portfolio experience, expert bases on hybrid architectures, new technologies and technological modernization models.
