- 3-5 years- Panagora Group is a U.S. small business that provides monitoring and evaluation services in the international development industry and currently implements the USAID/Colombia Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) activity. The MEL activity provides technical and advisory services to USAID in the following components: (1) Monitoring; (2) Performance and Impact Assessments; (3) Research, Assessments, and Data Analysis; (4) Geographic Information Services (GIS) and (5) Collaboration, Learning, and Adaptation tasks (CLA).- As part of the evaluation component of the MEL activity that search a quantitative specialist to support the development of the baselines and its products for the activities of Sustainable Agriculture (SA) and Golden Land (GL). The following is a summary of the requirements and duties that are key for the position.

**Responsibilities**:

- Identify the sampling frames and design the sampling strategies to collect quantitative data with farmers and miners, participants of USAID’s Activities.
- Support the design of efficient and effective methodologies for quantitative data collection.
- Carry out the design of quantitative data collection instruments and when necessary, support their collection.
- Prepare and send formal requirements of data from secondary sources
- Perform quantitative analysis of the collected secondary sources of information.
- Support econometric estimations and statistical analysis of baselines performed by the MEL activity.
- Perform statistical analysis of data with respective analytical reports and written and oral presentations when requested.
- Design graphs and tables using relevant statistical software to interpret and analyze quantitative data with respect to specific questions for a study or evaluation.
- Provide technical support during the design and processing phases of quantitative instruments as part of technical team meetings.
- Support the review of databases, instruments and data collection reports in Spanish and English for publication in the USAID Data Development Library (DDL).
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or MEL activity manager

- Panagora Group proporciona servicios de monitoreo y evaluación en la industria del desarrollo internacional y actualmente implementa la actividad de Monitoreo, Evaluación y Aprendizaje (MEL) de USAID / Colombia. La actividad MEL brinda servicios técnicos y de asesoría a USAID en los siguientes componentes: (1) Monitoreo; (2) Evaluaciones de desempeño e impacto; (3) Investigación, evaluaciones y análisis de datos; (4) Servicios de Información Geográfica (GIS) y (5) Tareas de Colaboración, Aprendizaje y Adaptación (CLA).- Como parte del componente de evaluaciones, la Actividad MEL busca un especialista cuantitativo para apoyar el desarrollo de las líneas de base y sus productos para las Actividades de Agricultura Sostenible (SA) y Tierra Dorada (TD). A continuación, se presentan algunos requerimientos y responsabilidades clave para la posición.

**Responsabilidades**:

- Identificar los marcos muestrales y diseñar los muestreos para la recolección de datos cuantitativos con agricultores y mineros participante en las actividades de USAID.
- Apoyar el diseño de metodologías eficientes y eficaces para la recolección de información cuantitativa.
- Realizar el diseño de instrumentos de recolección de información cuantitativas y cuando sea necesario apoyar su recolección.
- Preparar y gestionar requerimientos de información de fuentes secundarias.
- Desarrollar los análisis de la información cuantitativa recolectada de fuentes secundarias.
- Apoyar las estimaciones econométricas y el análisis estadístico de las líneas de base realizadas por la actividad de MEL.
- Realizar análisis estadístico de datos con sus respectivos informes analíticos y presentaciones escritas y orales cuando se solicite.
- Diseñar gráficos y tablas usando el software estadístico pertinente para interpretar y analizar datos cuantitativos con respecto a las preguntas específicas para un estudio o evaluación.
- Proporcionar apoyo técnico durante las fases de diseño y procesamiento de instrumentos cuantitativos en el marco de las reuniones del equipo técnico.
- Apoyar la revisión de bases de datos, instrumentos e informes de recolección de información en español e inglés para publicar en el Data Development Library (DDL) de USAID.
- Ejecutar todas las demás funciones asignadas por el supervisor inmediato o el director de la actividad MEL.
